Hello, there!

I’m here with another round of creative team layouts. Oh my!… and this kit is so gorgeous! I think there’s something about the colors that attract my eyes.

If you find yourself with a creative block or if you want to see how you can use products you bought, here’s your first stop for some scrapping inspiration.

Today, I’m sharing a collection of layouts made with Berry Sweet Collection that includes Full Kit, Flowers, Artsy Papers, Ombré Papers, Alphas, Wordbits, Word Arts, Special Papers, Masks & Paints and  Stickers.

When the collection is big, I also offer the specialty bundles: Essentials Bundle and Artsy Bundle.

That’s not all. How could it be even better? Yes, gimme templates. The Berry Sweet Collection also includes four packs of incredible templates: Pack 1, Pack 2, Pack 3 and Pack 4.

Of course, I am also sharing my thoughts and takeaways on each layout. I hope you also get inspired to scrap your photos and memories.

dani

I will open with my own page. I love pages full of flower clusters, so I chose one of the templates that has lots of them. I also love layers of patterned paper, so this template just called to me. What I like the most about this page is that I used only one photo for the three photo spots, I treated its colors to fit the kit and then turned the cropped ones into B&W. A good tip here is flipping the cropped shots to direct the eye to the center of the page.

sacha

Sacha also used one of the templates from the collection. I love how the browns and the blue from the jeans in her photo match the kit. The combination of ombré and artsy papers for the background makes it so interesting. I love how she added a word art to a block of paper and made it look like a filler card. She’s a cutie, isn’t she?

francine

Francine is now using the Project Life App on her cell phone and I love how she’s able to use my designs on it. Pocket pages with weekly stories are so cool. I like how she added bits and pieces and word arts to the cards spots, creating her own designs.

heidi2

Heidi chose to go minimalist with a template from The Little Things 4. How cool this is! What a great picture she has and I love how she framed it a way that we cannot take our eyes off of it. Those big flowers and paint splatter give a great touch, too. Using an embossed paper for the background makes it looks so interesting.

heidi

Heidi scrapped another page and she chose one of my favorite templates from the collection. I love the flower clusters, remember? *grin I like how she made her photos so vibrant, they pop from all that is going on. She also added a word art to a block of paper and made her own filler card. Everything is so beautiful about this page.

rabecca2

I love to see people changing the templates to fit their needs. Look how fabulous this looks. This cute little baby makes it all even more beautiful. I like the straight visual line she created with the photos and the word art in the middle.

kellie

Kellie brought a smile to my face when she showed me this page. I love how she used parts of the pattern to frame the photos. What about the cut outs she created from the pattern?! She blew me away. Love it!

rabecca

This page by Rabecca is also so incredibly beautiful. I love that she used a combination of dark and light patterned papers for the curves and an ombré paper for the background. I also like how the colors in her photos match the colors of the kit.

alane

Okay, I admit I would never have imagined that this kit would look so masculine before seeing this page by Alane. How cute is this?! He’s so adorable. I love how she only used the blues, greens and creams for this one… I love how she tagged the photos Clown and Sweet and what can I say about the journaling? You know I love seeing stories being told in scrapbook pages.

That’s it. I hope you loved this as much as I did. Berry Sweet was created for the February Buffet Event, so it is being offered at a special price through February 28.

Don’t miss the special Buffet Price and order now.
When the month is over, they will be full priced.

Creative Team Layouts | You’re Rad!

Hello, there!

I’m here with another round of creative team layouts. If you find yourself with a creative block or if you want to see how you can use products you bought, here’s your first stop for some scrapping inspiration.

Today, I’m sharing a collection of layouts made with You’re Rad! Collection that includes Full Kit, Flowers, Artsy Papers, Ombré Papers and  Stickers.

Of course, I am also sharing my thoughts and takeaways on each one. I hope you also get inspired to scrap your photos and memories.

alanna

Alanna scrapped this cute page with a templates from The Little Things 6 and I love how she added fewer flowers and more brushes. For a boyish look, using the neutrals with a bit of color was a great choice.

rabecca

Rabecca used a template from The Little Things 3 and I love how she changed it to fit her needs. She chose a B&W photo and it’s a perfect fit for the artsy paper she chose for the background because it is full of things to see and her photo doesn’t get lost that way.

heidi2

Heidi rocked my world with this layout. Love the picture and how it pops from all the elements and papers and artsy paper of the background, there’s so much going on here, but her photo is clean enough to not get lost. The wordart sticker was perfect for the photo. Love the layers of papers and elements, too.

sacha

I love those photos! They seem to have been taken by a professional in a studio and its good to make them the focus of the layout. I like the way this page reminds me a traditional paper page because of the classic placement of everything. I like that she didn’t add too many elements and let her photos be the star. I’m curious about her journaling, it’s sad I can’t read it. LOL

heidi

Heidi made another beautiful layout. I love the ombré background, they always add interest without the need of adding other things to capture the eyes’ attention. I love how she created the triangle shape with the title, the word art sticker and the banner, can you see it? This is a great design technique I love using.

kellie

Another page that reminds me a traditional paper page due to the way Kellie divided the page and used a large photo. I love patterned paper as background and using the arrows border to connect the patterns was a great touch. I like how the report card pops from the page because it is the focus, the photo is a complement. This is a great thing to celebrate, great choice of story to tell.

jennifer

Jennifer blew my mind!! Love those photos full of colors and how she made the page looks masculine with the blacks and blues. The vellum over the artsy paper was perfect to make the photos pop. This page makes me smile.

em

Em always does a great job with filling her page with lots of interesting things and still have the focus on the photo. I like that she chose a lighter paper as background so all the colors and the photo standout.

I love how Lynn captures her family everyday life with pocket pages every week. Click the images to enlarge them . What can I say, she always adds interest with small accents and word bits. Love that!

Creative Team Layouts | The Little Things Templates

Hello, there!

I’m here with another round of creative team layouts. If you find yourself with a creative block or if you want to see how you can use products you bought, here’s your first stop for some scrapping inspiration.

Today, I’m sharing a big collection of layouts made with The Little Things Templates sets Three, Four, Five and Six that are all bundled up in January Templates Bundle. Of course, I am also sharing my thoughts and takeaways on each one. I hope you also get inspired to scrap your photos and memories.

The Little Things is a series of minimalist templates full of empty space and small photos.

tltctlos1

Alanna made such a cute page. I love how the string waves, it gives such a charming touch to the layout. I love how she added very small elements keeping the layout very minimalist. The title with tiny letter blocks is such a cool thing! I like that she moved the original title place to fit her layout. The colors are also beautiful.

tltctlos15

I love the bold and dark layout with bits of light colors here and there. I know I’m the one who designed this kit, but I cannot resist saying I love the texture of that paper, I think it goes perfectly with the Winter theme.

tltctlos6

Robin did such a great work with this template. I love the colors and the cluster on the left edge of the photo. The light background is the perfect match for the bright colors.

tltctlos3

I love this background paper and the color combination. She placed a banner under the photo and decorative circles that added so much interested to the design. Great shadowing.

tltctlos14

Lisa made a great Christmas page. I like how she replaced the confetti by the Christmas lights. Love the Joy card with the hat on the corner. Great picture, too.

tltctlos4

Heidi used an ombré paper for the background and added only pattern paper to the small pieces of paper, leaving a lot of empty space, the ombré paper makes it look much more interesting than if she had used a plain paper. Look at those cute faces! I love how her photo pops from the layout. Everything looks adorable.

tltctlos10

Love the colors of this layout, too. I also love how she added paint splatters, that added a great touch.

tltctlos11

I like when people use templates as the starting point, but change it to fit their needs. Theresa rotated the template and then resized photos and pieces of paper, she left empty space, but it doesn’t look very minimalist. A good example of how you can use a template even when it doesn’t seem to be your style.

tltctlos12

What a sweet page by Rabecca. I love patterned papers as backgrounds. I like that she didn’t add many elements so it’s not too busy. Her photo is so adorable.

tltctlos8

I always love Alanna’s layouts, she knows how to combine papers and elements in a very pleasant way. The color combo is so adorable and I love all the doodles. That background with inked edges brought a bit of contrast. I also like the hearts doodles on the bottom.

tltctlos9

Theresa resized it all again to fit her style. The title is also cute and I like all the themed elements that go with it. Great photo.

tltctlos7

What a cool page by Jennifer. Love the male look. Love that she placed a vellum mat over the artsy paper, it made the layout less busy since her photos have lots of colors.

The Little Things Templates are 30% off through Jan 22. Order now.

Creative Team Inspiration: Bedtime Stories Collection

Weekends are great for photographing moments with the family and also scrapping the photos and stories you’ve been wanting to tell. If you find yourself in a creative block or if you want to see how you can use products you bought. Here’s your first stop for some scrapping inspiration.

Today, I’m sharing a collection of layouts made with Bedtime Stories Collection and a few of my thoughts and takeaways on each one. I hope you also get inspired to scrap this weekend.

bts-michelle
Template used from JDoubleU 11 Pack

I love how Michelle added a lot of themed elements in a harmonious way. A good rule for that is resizing them. The lighting and angle of her photos are great. I also like that she used the word art sticker as the title.

bts-tinci

You’re gonna see a lot of sleeping babies and toddlers in this post. That’s why this one by Tinci caught my attention. She scrapped grown ups relaxing. I always love Tinci’s clusters and layers of papers, I also love patterned paper as the backgorund.

bts-heidib
Template used from JDoubleU 11 Pack

Heidi has a new grandson in her family, how cute he is! I like how she focused on his photo, adding only a few elements. I also like that she frames her page with a dark blue paper.

bts-dodie
Template used from JDoubleU 12 Pack

Can’t avoid smiling when I see this page. Love that close-up photo. Love that she created a card using one of the patterned papers and the sleeping bear instead of adding a second photo. The Ombre paper always adds so much interest to the page.

bts-em

Em is very great at scrapping off-themed pages and I love that because it shows me how versatile my products are and that’s something I aim for. As a scrapper, I like to have versatile products that I can use more than once or twice. Back to Em’s page, what can I say… I love to see her family adventures scrapped, I like that she kept her photos as the central point even though there are so many layers of papers, the size of her photos make them pop from the pieces of paper.

bts-alane

Alane surprised me with this beautiful layout because she didn’t use any of the blues from the kit. I would never imagine a page only with the whites and yellows. Her photo is so adorable and the dark background pops from the whites and yellows. Love it!

bts-em2

Em also scrapped a page following the kit theme and what I love the most here is that she added journaling, I love to see family stories being told. I like that she used the books of the kit to show that he was studying, so she kept all the other themed elements out of the page.

bts-theresaTemplate used from JDoubleU 13 Pack

I love this template, it’s one of my faves from the newest in the store. What I like the most here is that she added the cloud patterned paper and it created a fun frame to the page with the flowers on the top. I also like that she added the pompoms and sheep among the flowers, they add so much interest.

bts-kimTemplate used from Incredible Life 8 pack

Kim used a template with lots of paper pieces under the photos, so choosing the lighter papers was perfect to make her photos stand out since they are a bit darker which set the mood for the theme. I know not every scrapper likes pages full of things, but I always get delighted seeing every detail when I see a page like this. Love it!

bts-debbieTemplate used from JDoubleU 14 pack

Debbie’s journaling is so true, “nothing is more precious than a sleeping infant.” This picture is perfect and its neutral colors are a great win, because it will match pretty much any kit you try to use. I love the patterned paper she chose for matting the page, it reminds me of a blanket. Lovely how she added a lot of details, but her photo is the focal point.

bts-sherriTemplate used from JDoubleU 14 pack

I guess every mother feels like this when watching their babies sleep, right? I remember I used to watch my daughter sleep with a feeling of amazement about life until she was 10. LOL I like that the artsy paper she chose for the background matches the colors in her photo. The yellow and dark blue in papers and elements give a great contrast.

Creative Team Inspiration: Bounty of Blessings Kit

Friday is a good day to get inspired for a future scrapping time, right? Weekends are great for photographing moments with the family and also scrapping the photos and stories you’ve been wanting to tell. If you find yourself in a creative block or if you want to see how you can use products you bought. Here’s your first stop for some Friday inspiration.

Today, I’m sharing a collection of layouts made with Bounty of Blessings Kit and a few of my thoughts and takeaways on each one. I hope you also get inspired to scrap this weekend.

bob_lo-biancka

I like how Biancka leaves plenty of white space in her pages. Placing everything in the edge gives so much interest to the page. A good design rule is not centering your focal point, when you take it anywhere off the center, it becomes much more interesting. This rule also works for photos.

bob_lo-heidis

Heidi caught my attention with this page. Layouts with large photos are always so awesome. I think the small framed photo of the cabin made it even more special because you have two perspectives of the same place. So clever.

bob_lo-heidi

Heidi made the best background choice to go with all the colors of the patterned papers. The patterned papers worked perfectly to make her photo stand out because her photo is very light. Every scrapbooker should know how to balance the light on their photos. We don’t need to be experts on photo treatment, but fixing light/shadows is a great way to make our photos better.

bob_lo-claudia

I’m crazy about cluttered layouts. I know this style doesn’t get much of scrappers’ attention, but I love when there’s so much to see that I could spend an hour looking at every detail. Okay, I know I’m exaggerating here… one hour is too much for a page, but I could spend an entire hour in a gallery for sure. hehe What I think is very cool about Claudia’s layout is that she added 3 clusters of flowers – odd numbers are always more interesting – and they are placed in a triangle shape which is another great design rule.

bob_lo-kristen

It’s a very good start that Kristen’s photos have colors that match the kit, it makes the scrapping much easier. As she chose a dark paper for the background, her choice of flowers and leaves were perfect, because they are not too dark and it creates a good contrast.

bob_lo-em

Em used an ombre paper for her background, you can never go wrong with them, they add an interesting touch to the page. The main colors she chose match some colors in her photo what gives the page a great look. She also created a great balance by adding bits and pieces at the right and the left side of the page.

bob_lo-jerilie

I love Jerilie’s family photos, they’re always dressed in the same colors or shades and that makes the page stand out. I like how she chose the aqua and yellow to go with the photos and added small accents, making the photos her focal point.
